Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival that marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom, bestows his presence on Earth during this festival and removes the obstacles. With such belief an NGO in collaboration with the RWA of sector 41, under ‘My Clean City Program’ organised ‘Best out of waste’ competition for children and ladies on theme Ganesh Chaturthi. The winners were assessed on the basis of creativity, presentation and innovative idea. The kids made beautiful Ganesha using clay, mud, paper, leaves and even rakhis. It was quite a learning experience for all of them to see and listen to each other’s ideas. All the winners and participants were awarded and even given refreshment by the foundation. It was quite fun as well as a learning experience for them.
