Come October 31st and with all the spookiness crawling from around the social network, is an invite all kids & moms ardently wait for, THE HALLOWEEN PARTY with The Stagecrackers group of kids. This celebration I associate with Nidhi Lamba, the senior editor of Samvada.
This year too, Halloween was as scary and entertaining as the previous years. All was planned well in advance, an invite was shared in groups. Smart and well-dressed witches and wizards arrived at the venue carrying their trick-and-treat bags.
Nidhi’s house was spookily done up. With a photo ‘bhooth’ and some placards to hold up. The placards read dialogues from famous horror movies, like ‘I see dead people’, ‘Expectopatronum’, ‘you can’t kill the boogeyman’ and more.
With stories telling being the best that she does, Nidhi managed to creep the kids out. After this kids played interesting games like Blow-out candles and TIC TAC BOO with tiny toy spiders.
With so much activity, the belly growled for yumm goodies that some moms had arranged for the kids, noodles, smileys, chips, muffins, slice cakes, donuts, and frooti. Lots and lots of candies were distributed, and everyone clicked their pictures. After an hour and a half of fun, all kids returned happy and content.
