The Beautiful Transformation of Eldeco Utopia

The city of Noida has been transformed into a vibrant and captivating landscape with a plethora of painting forms adorning its flyovers, underpasses, pillars, and other public spaces, creating a visually stunning spectacle. Scarcely would one find an individual who has not beheld this resplendent sight. Drawing inspiration from these captivating murals found in the city, Eldeco Utopia has undergone a recent transformation, as several intricate and vibrant Gond artworks now adorn the walls of its communal spaces, adding a new level of visual appeal. “Gond art is a traditional tribal art that uses vivid colours like red, blue, yellow, and green to portray birds, trees, horses etc. The images in Gond art are created using tiny dots, lines, and dashes. The minute infilling of the patterns and spiral shapes is another noteworthy aspect of Gond art”.

Lucky, Mohit and Anju, freelance painters in their graduation years, were commissioned by an MNC as part of its Clean Noida initiative to beautify various locations. The project team finally chose some walls after a lot of careful consideration about the space in which these paintings could be done. The goal was to revitalize these spaces and create a sense of community pride and ownership. The artwork was completed in an astonishingly short period of just one and a half months, showcasing the efficient and skilled execution of the project by the team.

Several resident ladies and children took the initiative to contribute to the beautification of their surroundings by volunteering to showcase their artistic skills and try their hand at painting. This not only added a personal touch to the murals but also fostered a sense of community involvement and pride in the newly adorned public spaces.

The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude. Through this piece, we hope to convey our sincere appreciation to the group of young painters as well as the crew that works in the background.
