A resident of Maharani Bagh and a much sought -after Ikebana professional, Madhu Bhatia volunteered to hold a training workshop for MB and all the neighbouring colony- residents— NFC, Kalindi, and Friends Colony before the Holi break.
The event was a big hit, scores of people showed -up, ranging from the age group of 13- years to senior citizens, all participated enthusiastically. While Mrs. Bhatia supplied the flowers, the participants were to bring their vases.
There were four demonstrations by her then everyone worked on their individual arrangements under her guidance and with the leftover flowers.
It was an event organized by the Maharani Bagh Cooperative and Welfare Society that also served refreshments for all at the end. Members were happy to have spent the day with a creative activity, especially conducted by Mrs. Bhatia who has been supplying arrangements to individual homes and for private events in this neighbourhood.
