Teej Festival Celebrated in C Block

Teej festival was celebrated in C block Greater Kailash-1 on Tuesday, August 6. The event was organized by the cultural events committee led by Anjali Verma and Sunita Gupta,on contribution basis. Shikha Rai, MCD, councilor, Greater Kailash-1, was the chief guest. Many women residents participated. The event had ample fun, music, activities and food. Sawanka Jhoola was hung for ladies to enjoy the ride. There was dance by girls and music to enjoy. Stalls selling ladies dresses, artificial jewellery and utility items were part of the event. Tambola game was a lot of fun for older ladies. Mehendi facility was available for those interested. The event ended with crispy and tasty snacks and sumptuous dinner items for everyone’s taste.
