When a friend sent me the details of a retreat, for women, it immediately caught my attention! The flyer looked interesting and promising; it did not seem like any regular, run of the mill get-together.
I wanted to know more. And so, I reached out to the number given.
A lively voice which greeted me at the other end was that of Meenal Jain (PH1), a vibrant young entrepreneur! Take Me Away Women Retreats is her brainchild. Meenal passionately, told me about herself, and her stint with a well-known travel portal, prior to starting this new venture.
Take me Away is born from her profound passion for travel and an unwavering commitment to fostering women’s empowerment through transformative journeys.
So, what is Take Me Away Women Retreats all about? Meenal has carefully crafted retreats, under its banner, to blend learning with leisure, as well as providing a platform for self-exploration and personal development, for women.
The inaugural retreat was held in New Delhi, on Sunday, 28 January 2024; I was glad to be a part of it! It brought together seven women from Wishtown but from varied walks of life, and professions, for a day filled with enriching experiences!
From trying our hands at pottery, to engaging in a therapeutic session with a psychodrama coach, the seven-hour workshop held first in Sunder Nursery and then at Civil Lines, was a journey of self-discovery, nature walks and shared moments, over hot tea and coffee, organic lunch in the open, and an array of delectable snacks, at a family home!
Their next retreat, scheduled for the end of February, promises to be a delightful blend of fun, learning and love! I sure am looking forward to it!
Join in and experience the different!
