In today’s digitally-driven world of instant information, libraries remain vital pillars of education, community, and intellectual growth. Libraries indeed are institutions to empower citizens and you will be pleased to learn that Suncity’s first self-service Library has been set up in Park Number 3!
The Book Nook Club is an incredible initiative taken by Anushka Agrawal, a resident of E-Block to establish this self-serving library driven by technology. The library is located in the gazebo (hut-like structure) in Park no. 3 which functions on trust and technology. Residents can borrow books from the library for a period of 1 week by registering on the Book Nook Club app. The librarian is available from 5-6 pm every day to issue the books. The library has a great collection of books by renowned authors, ranging from Danielle Steel to Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. It contains reads for all ages including children’s fiction books as well as self-help books for those who may be interested. Residents are welcome to donate their pre-loved books to Book Nook Club to add to this exciting collection.
By opening the doors for us to access a world of books, this initiative will not only foster a love for reading but also strengthen the bonds of our neighbourhood. It reiterates that the power to bring about something new and unique lies within our communities and ourselves. Residents of Suncity are highly encouraged to engage with this innovative Library in Park No. 3 and experience the plethora of knowledge, entertainment and learnings offered by its wide collection of books.
