A group of ladies of Sushant Lok have initiated a very happy book reading journey together and they first met on Wednesday 5th March. With a humble beginning including just 6 members, the Lit club plans to include more residents from Sushant Lok and slowly build a community of readers or let’s say non readers who intend to start this habit with everyone.
In their first meeting which was held at the Ingri Museo Café, all of us introduced one another and gave away introductory gifts, a beautiful blue journal journal and a magnetic book mark. The objective of the club is for like minded readers to meet once a month and discuss one book that has been decided upon in the previous meeting. For this month we decided to read Ikigai: Japanese secret to long and happy life by Francesc Miralles and Hector Garcia. We’ll be discussing the book in our next meeting.
In months to come we’ll have engaging discussions, and, of course, good tea/coffee and refreshments. Whether you’re an avid reader or just starting your reading journey, the Sushant Lok Lit club is for you!
So what should you expect from the Lit Club
• A mutually selected book each month
• Thoughtful discussions in a cozy setting and over the WhatsApp group.
• A mix of fiction, non-fiction, and classics
• A friendly and relaxed atmosphere
• Tea/coffee and refreshments to enjoy while we chat
Sushant Lok Book Club is open for resident members. Feel free to connect and join! Call or Whatsapp 9810062024
