Sushant Lok is gearing up for the upcoming election galore, the present list of collegium members will be renewed and scrutinised and many new members will be contesting the new election by participating in the campaign. S. K. Malik has been appointed as administrator cum Returning Officer by the District Registrar Firms and Societies, Gurugram.
The election of the collegium members of Sushant Lok Residents Welfare Association, C block, Sector 43, Gurugram is scheduled to be held on 18/03/ 2024. On the 1st of Feb Exhibit, Objection on Voter list and display of the Final Eligibility Voter list will be put on the notice board of the society in the Community Centre or on WhatsApp group, filing of the nomination form with the due amount will be done on Feb. 2nd – after scrutiny, withdrawal of nomination form if any, the final list of the nomination form will be displayed at the SLRWA office on Feb 3rd, then the voting will be conducted from 10:00 to 3:30 pm, on the 18th of March. Declaration of the result will be shown at 4:30 pm the same day. On the 25th of February, the list of elected collegium members will be displayed in the SLRWA office at 5:00 pm.
There are 30 wards in the society and 1690 members of the SLRWA. The election will be conducted under CCTV coverage. Only the first owner of the property is entitled to contest or cast the vote. One person, one vote only.
If the society dues are outstanding the person will not be allowed to vote.
Hard copies will be available in the office and can be obtained with the payment of Rs. 200.
A member of the Collegium shall hold office or an aggregated period not exceeding four years, consecutively subject to circumstances calling for a fresh annual election within the period – are the guidelines submitted by S K Malik, who is Administrator cum RO for the SLRWA elections this year.
One must say and agree that the present committee did try its best and was able to bring better standards for the blocks than the previous times, kudos to the collegium members for doing a great job selflessly. The society is obliged!
