Dilli 6 Ki Chaat Was A Big Hit
Navratras come with a feeling of festivity and celebrations and what better way to do it than a community Dandiya Night program where ladies gents, and children all come together for a special evening to dance play and eat delicious chaat.
On 23rd October 5:30pm, more than 120 residents at Park Street gathered together to enjoy and have fun together in the Park, it was decorated colourfully and with lights to give a festive feel. Residents adorned garba attire and were looking lovely.
We started the celebrations with lighting the diya and praying to goddess Durga and started the Dandiya with Garba music played by the DJ. Dandiya sticks were given to each participant by the club.
We had a kids dance program and Dandiya & Tambola followed that. The Navratri quiz had interesting stories to share. Chaat was specially organized from Chawri bazaar Delhi 6 and people were full of praise for the food.
A new kind of community event was praised and called for next year by all.
A perfect dandiya night for cherished memories…was a fantastic fun…cherry on the top was the spirit and excitement of the participants of the event… Looking forward to so many more of such amazing happenings in our neighborhood.
