Looking at the present scenario of the Sushant Lok C block, the lawlessness and basic sufferings of the residents, the SLRWA general secretary, Deepak Verma called the residents of C block for a peaceful march, demanding the basic amenities for which we pay the taxes.
The general body of SLRWA took many presentations to the concerned authorities, sometimes even with the keen residents, but to no avail, the people are still suffering the water crisis, muddy/ smelly water supply, choked drainage- sewage overflowing, sweeping of lanes issue and vacant plots cleaning, maintenance of parks, repair of roads, power outages, no delivery of electricity bills and of course the security.
Mr Verma says even with umpteen efforts to talk things out with the authorities regularly and even by getting assurance that the work will be carried out soon, nothing materialised. Looking at the unrest amongst the residents Mr Verma and Mr Khanna sent a call to all the residents to assemble at Gate no. 1, Rajpath, C block, at 10 am on 30th of April 2023 to protest peacefully and make their woes public democratically. All are hopeful that C block ke achhe din aayenge!
