Most of the Gated Societies RWA are worried about the security and safety of its residents. Anti Social elements gain entry thru various gates and pose threat to vulnerable citizens. Thefts, Murders, and crimes are increasing. It has been noticed that known acquaintances are normally involved which is part of the surroundings. Recently there was news of RWA of Lajpat nagar, Malviya Nagar, Saket and other areas of Delhi echoing the sentiments to strengthen security set up in gated colonies. They are contemplating registering all Full Time/part-timers and Tenants and seeking cooperation from residents. They are working on police verification of the above entities. Any RWA works closely with the respective police station and the private security agency deployed by them. Fortunately, the Suraksha Committee of RWA of DLF 2 is also actively engaged and working with DEDL-appointed Security Agency and coordinating with the Police dept.
