The Cultural Team of Exclusive Floors Owners Society dynamically led by Suresh Chandra Sharma organized a musical morning on 27th July in collaboration with the iconic DLF Club 5. The residents of all the societies of Phase V participated at full throttle in the programme. The purpose of the programme was to give a common platform to the talented singers and dancers and also to cement the bond among the people of Phase V.
Under the guidance and expertise of S.C.Sharma (Cultural Secretary, EFOS), the cultural morning was anchored by Pushpa Soni who did the job superbly. The guest of honour was Lily Singh (the mentor of the programme) who was felicitated by EFOS President Usha Singh and Secretary Anil Goswami respectively. The programme was a fragrant bouquet of film songs along with a dazzling Oriya dance performance by Ranjini Basu.
The musical extravaganza kicked off at 10:30 a.m. and went on till 12:30pm with a large audience. The songs like Haesta Hua Noorani Chehra, Kajra Mohabbat Wala, Mera Joota Hai Japaani, Na Tum Humein Jaano, Main Nazar Se Pee Raha Hoon, O Re Taal Miley, Jo Tumko Ho Pasand and Kuch Na Kaho were melodiously sung by the participants with a proper orchestration.
There were twelve participants such as Madhu Monga, Pinky, Puneet Arora, Ashok Ghai, S.C. Sharma, H.C. Soni, Dev Kakra, Ravi Joshi, V.K. Hardatt, Mona Mathur and M.L. Motwani who entertained the audiences with their mesmerising voices. In fact, the honourable guest and mentor Lily Singh rendered a peppy number Shola Jo Bhadkey and won everyone’s heart.
To wrap up, it was a Senior Citizen Programme which was wholeheartedly supported by DLF Club 5. The whole team of Kanika Singh not only provided the venue for the musical treat but also laid out a tasteful buffet platter for everyone. The programme also gave a golden opportunity to the residents of DLF V to mingle and form cordial relations with one another. Let there be more such musical mornings to rejuvenate us all!
