Panchsheel Enclave Ladies Association celebrated its Annual Day on 1st March. The attendance was huge as many as 95 and all decked up in vibrant dresses and the super senior ladies looked like graceful dolls. The Super Senior Ladies were felicitated amidst the huge gathering and what an elated feeling they all experienced. They were all gifted token of appreciation in the form of Pashmina stoles and a beautiful rose along with it. They were welcomed at the gate by the executives of the Club with a photo session. 12 of them whom we knew are above 80 years of age and were made to sit on an erected stage as a mark of respect. The TT Hall entrance, where the meet was held was decorated with beautiful flowers and the ambience looked warm and serene. All of them above 80 looked so charming and graceful with their faces glowing. A few old songswere sung and voila! They sang and danced along. Thereafter, a very popular and favourite Holi song was played and a duet dance was performed. It was followed by popular Holi songs and the mood was changed to festive now. The ladies played with rose petals and danced on our favourite Holi songs.
Holiday special soup was served followed by a scrumptious Lunch ending with dollops of ice-cream. The ladies especially the super seniors enjoyed the afternoon and one of them even commented that they didn’t miss their children/grandchildren at all. They thanked the organizers for making them feel special and privileged. It definitely was an afternoon which will be remembered for a long time. We are highly grateful to the club authorities for all their co-operation and help.
