A library is a fountainhead of learning and knowledge, a treasure house of information. A library and a garden are all you need for good living, inspiration, hope to explore the world, achieve goals, and contribute to the quality of life. Endless learning keeps your mind alive and improves reading skills, writing skills, analytical skills, communication skills, imagination, creativity, memory, and brainpower. A library is also a wonderful stress buster and source of relaxation and entertainment. Sunshine Helios boasts a wonderfully resourceful library in a prime location. A good library is a necessity for an educated community. Sunshine Library was established in 2014 with immense support from residents, particularly Sakshi Agarwal and Rahul Agarwal, who helped streamline the process. Residents generously donated cupboards, shelves, tables, chairs, and piles of useful, informative books in various genres such as literature, fiction, non-fiction, and motivational, inspirational, religious, and spiritual books in English, Hindi, and some in Urdu. The library also holds journals and magazines donated by the residents. The children’s section is rich and diverse, and there are also competition preparatory books for various courses. Additionally, the library offers creative games like chess, Scrabble, Monopoly, and more, along with puzzles, quiz books, and maps. The library was inaugurated by Inderjeet Ahuja, a highly educated resident and avid reader. The library owes its success to the generous book donors and is meticulously managed by an enthusiastic team led by Archana Sharma Jain, Meenu, Deepa Srivastava, Renu Bhutani, Rekha Bharadwaj, and Karuna. Books are issued to children and returned on fixed days. The library remains open from 5 pm to 8 pm during school days and from 10 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm during vacations.
