Sunderkand Path at Alok Vihar 1

The nine-day festival of Chaitra Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Maa Durga and her nine incarnations. It celebrates Goddess Durga’s birth of the cosmos and all living things within it. Devotees believe that Maa Durga arrives from heaven during Navratri and visits her devotees. Alok Vihar 1 celebrated the festival with much pomp and show, and saw the presence of devotees from across the society. Celebrated in the central park of the society on the auspicious day of Ram Navmi, a Sunderkand Path was attended by the residents enthusiastically and went on till the night.
