It was an emotional moment to see our fellow buyers (approximately 20,000) struggling to get their flats for the last 13-14 years.
The construction has not picked up in spite of the approval of the resolution plan of Suraksha Realty by NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) on 07-03-2023. The reason – ‘Approval Date’, as defined and approved under the resolution, is not yet achieved.
There is no clarity as to when the ‘Approved Date’ may be achieved as litigations are pending in various Courts and also with Yamuna Authority (YEIDA).
Whatever the reasons one may give legally or as per system, our would-be fellow residents are suffering.
It is heartening to see that Ashish Mohan Gupta, President of Incomplete Flats Buyers Association, has been able to mobilise support from various quarters. Many of us who are lucky to have our flats here and are living as residents (including me) attended the Sunderkand Paath to show solidarity.
After the Paath, many incomplete flat homebuyers shared anecdotes about their waiting experience.
We pray that a working solution is found soon and implemented.
