We are thrilled to share a significant update on the Suncity Mandir project. After years of perseverance, we have overcome all legal hurdles, and the final approval process is now just a week away. The journey began in 2018 when the Mandir Committee submitted its representation to HSVP after the Suncity Builder handed over RB Land. Despite multiple advertisements for site allotment, only one application—from Suncity Jan Kalyan Mandir Samiti—was received, delaying the process. The pandemic further stalled progress, pushing efforts to 2022 and 2023.
In 2024, SRWA restarted the process, submitting a fresh representation. However, due to election-related delays, the file movement was slow. Renewed efforts in early 2025 finally gained traction. On January 9, the Chief Administrator responded positively to our request to re-begin the paper work. After multiple follow-ups, the file moved through various stages across HSVP, reaching the Chief Administrator on March 3 and further to Superintendent by March 11.
With the HQ Administrator resuming duty this week after a leave, we expect the final approvals for re-advertising coming our way soon. Our goal remains to see the Mandir completed within this year.
We appreciate your patience and support in this long journey. Let’s look forward to a successful completion.
