As summer sets in, residents of Noida are bracing themselves for the inevitable power outages that plague our city every year. The rapid growth of our community, with new commercial hubs, malls, and housing societies sprouting up like mushrooms, has put an unbearable strain on our already inadequate power infrastructure. Our sector is no stranger to the woes of regular power outages, and the situation is only expected to worsen as the mercury rises. With multiple air conditioners in every multi-storey house, the demand for electricity will skyrocket, leaving us vulnerable to frequent outages. The consequences are already being felt, with residents struggling to cope with the sweltering heat and disrupted daily lives.
It’s imperative that we, as residents, come together to demand a solution to this pressing issue. Our RWA has been doing commendable work, but the continuous breakdown of electricity is a clear indication of faulty infrastructure. We urge our RWA to take up this issue on a war footing and tweet to the Chief Minister, highlighting our daily struggles with power outages. Moreover, it’s not just the power outages that are the problem – faulty transformers, wires, and electric components are also responsible for breakdowns, exacerbating the situation. If these can be properly maintained, at least one factor contributing to power failures will be mitigated. Regular maintenance and upgrades of our sector’s power infrastructure are long overdue.
It’s astonishing that our sector has been neglected by the electricity department, despite being a hub of residential and commercial activity. While other sectors receive regular maintenance and upgrades, our sector’s infrastructure remains woefully inadequate. We must demand better. The choice is ours: we can either take action now or face the consequences of a sweltering summer without reliable power. Let us unite to resolve this issue and ensure a more comfortable and secure living environment for ourselves and our families.
We request all residents to join hands and:
– Tweet to the Chief Minister and electricity department, highlighting our power outage woes
– Attend RWA meetings and demand action on this issue
– Support our RWA’s efforts to upgrade our sector’s power infrastructure
Together, we can make a difference and ensure a summer that’s free from the woes of power outages.
