A Dry Waste Collection Camp & Training Session took place in Nanadan Kanan Park on Oct 7. Organized by the HCL Foundation as part of the “My Clean City Programme,” this event received overwhelming community support.
Residents actively participated in the Dry Waste Collection Camp, responsibily disposing of items like pet bottles, tetra packs, cardboards, used papers, newspapers, single-use plastic, and plastic boxes.
Concurrently, a training session on waste management was conducted for domestic employees and Sector cleaners. This educational initiative not only empowered participants with valuable knowledge but also promoted community engagement. The event was rounded off with refreshments and a small token of appreciation for domestic and Vatavaran staff.
Rajesh Khanna, Secretary RWA and Anupma Bhardwaj President SDFRWS expressed their gratitude to the residents for their wholehearted participation and encouraged domestic helpers to attend the training session. Swati Gaur and Meghna Jindal also graced the occasion.
The event’s success underscores the collective commitment of the Noida community to build a cleaner and more sustainable city. It demonstrates that even small steps taken together can lead to significant environmental impact.
