An Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) Camp was successfully conducted by LB Gautam, with dedicated support by Air Commodore Nrip Mehta. This initiative provided a healthcare benefit to 150 senior citizens aged 70 and above, ensuring they received their PM-JAY cards.
To extend the reach of this initiative, LB Gautam arranged home visits by the CSC agency for bedridden individuals or those unable to step out due to medical conditions. This service brought relief to many senior citizens, who can now access essential healthcare services with ease.
The PM-JAY cards were delivered to beneficiaries by the CSC agency, ensuring convenience.
Towards Healthcare Inclusion – The PM-JAY is a scheme aimed at providing free healthcare coverage of up to ¹ 5 lakh per family per year for eligible beneficiaries. It covers hospitalization expenses, surgeries, diagnostics, and medicines, making healthcare accessible to vulnerable sections of society.
For our residents, this initiative, hosted at Club3 in camps by the Wishtown Health & Wellness Group, has been a meaningful change. I was the first visitor to register for the PM-JAY card; the registration process was well-organized; the card was received on time.
