The flag hosting was done at 10:00 a.m. followed by a short cultural program which was being prepared by Meenakshi Chanda along with the children of the colony. It was organized to celebrate the spirit of free India and to salute the supreme sacrifice of our forefathers and freedom fighters.
There were 8 to 10 children in the age group of 4 to 8 years old who performed a mashup of songs on patriotism followed up by two 15 year old girls who did a mashup on Uri and Pulwama incidents enumerating the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. The ladies of Anand Niketan were not to be left behind and performed a beautiful song.
