Story Telling Captivated Avni Girls

It was yet another delightful monthly meeting for the Avni girls, on 04 May. The organization of the meeting was orchestrated by our esteemed core group, comprised of six dedicated members. Excitement buzzed through the air as the girls eagerly anticipated the upcoming storytelling session, which promised to be the highlight of the day.

At precisely 11:30 am, we commenced our program with a gracious welcome note, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. To enhance the storytelling experience, we had the honor of hosting two distinguished guests, Meena Sharma and Saroj Agrawal, ATS Village society in Sector 93A. As editors of Samvada, our paths intertwine forging a strong bond of camaraderie.

Mrs. Sharma and Mrs. Agrawal, with their extensive experience in crafting captivating tales and enchanting poetry respectively, were the ideal candidates to conduct the storytelling session. Saroj ji astounded us with her recitation of a poignant poem she had penned herself, weaving emotions and imagery effortlessly.

Following her lead, Meena ji captivated the audience with a thought-provoking story that centered on a man’s quest to find love again after losing his beloved wife. However, despite marrying a woman of unparalleled beauty, his soul remained unfulfilled. The narrative skillfully enveloped the listeners, entrancing them in a world of emotions and introspection. As the tale unfolded, the audience’s engagement deepened, creating a palpable connection with the characters and events that unfolded.

We were over-joy when Saroj ji generously gifted each of us a personally authored book of short poems, a treasure trove of her creative expressions.

Rita Sengupta, a valued member of our club, also graced the occasion with a recitation of a heartfelt poem penned by Vishal Bharadwaj, further enriching the cultural experience of the gathering.

In addition to the enriching literary endeavors, Shammi Mehta delighted us with a lively game of tambola, infusing the atmosphere with an element of friendly competition. Not to be outdone, Neeta Aggarwal orchestrated an intriguing game, captivating the ladies with her ingenuity and wit, followed by a delectable lunch.

As the session drew to a close, a sense of fulfillment and positivity permeated the air, leaving us with fond memories of an enchanting gathering, infused with intellectual and emotional stimulation.
