Stand Up to This Kind of Bullying & Stop This Dharna!

On Jan 29, the Kissan Neta got earful from our own feisty Anupma Bhardwaj. The Kissan Netas had already held one dharna a few weeks back in front of our sector that caused a great amount of headache to 15A residents. Anupma shared that she had to drive at least for an hour from sector 27 to reach the sector, and all the roads were blocked when she arrived on foot. The gate was closed and kisans were sitting on roads and several tractors and trolleys were there. Kisan Neta was listing his demands to our Mahesh Sharmaji, Anupma Bhardwaj stopped that bully midway, saying, ‘Bhaiya, just one minute.’ Then she told the gathering, ‘Look, I have medicine in my hand, and my son is unwell. You all are creating such a big havoc for us. Moreover, someone has passed away in the sector, and many people want to come for the mourning, but they cannot enter the sector.’ Upon hearing this, there was a huge silence, followed by murmurs. The Kissan Neta was visibly embarrassed. It’s time to stand up to this kind of bullying and stop this dharna culture from our society.
