Every year, around Basant Panchmi , the ladies association organizes a picnic on the beautiful lawns of Holiday club. The ladies enjoy the glorious sun, basked in the warm hospitality by the organizes and take away roses to adorn their hair and their rooms. When the ladies association came to being, they used to do pot luck of delicious dishes and picnic in different gardens of Delhi. As the members grew in number and few stepped in the winter of their lives, the association decided to organize the picnic in holiday club. The club extends its services graciously. A chat counter was set up in the lawns which had Bedmi Aaloo, Papri Chaat, Moong dal Halva, Gol gappas, Tikkis, Cheela and Hot Espresso coffee. There was more to the day as the ladies in the age group 40/80 cat walked with ramp music in the background. They played Tambola and Dumb-charades. Bala Batra and Seema Malhotra cracked jokes and kept the ladies entertained. Every lady present there was gifted a rose to mark a fun time they had and carry home the memory of an enjoyable picnic which is organized so efficiently by the ladies Association year after year.
