On 9 December 2023, the Happy Souls Club organised an unforgettable Sports Day for children with special needs at the scenic Meghdutam Park grounds.
Parents, alongside their children, enthusiastically participated in a number of sports activities that unfolded after a warm welcome speech and the rendition of our national anthem.
Kicking off the day was an exciting skating competition, setting the tone for an array of events that showcased the remarkable abilities of the special-needs children. From the thrilling 100 meters race to the skillful Ring Throw, spirited Kick the Ball, precise Hit the Target, creative Drawing Competition, jovial Sack Race, lively Lemon Race, rapid One Minute Collection, and the timeless Musical Chair, each event brought out the unique talents of the participants.
The special-needs children stole the show with their incredible performances, leaving parents pleasantly surprised. As the day’s festivities concluded, Ramkinkar Singh, along with his dedicated team that included Roshni Rebecca Lal, Dr. Supreet Kaur, Nabila Abbas, Sudha Tripathi, Priyanka Pal Ray, Mrs. Upasana and Mrs. Manisha, gave away prizes to the participants.
Expressing gratitude, the Happy Souls team thanked the parents and participants for their presence, extending heartfelt congratulations to the students for their outstanding achievements. The day was a testament to the boundless spirit and talents within our special community.
