The Nishwarth Sewa Foundation, in collaboration with the Innerwheel Club, organized a heartwarming sports day for the underprivileged children of the Nishwarth Sewa Foundation on 14th May 2024. The event, held with great enthusiasm, saw the participation of numerous children in various sports activities, including relay races, fun races, and games.
Residents Shikha Mahipal and Rachana Mohan of K 5 played a pivotal role in arranging gifts and medals for the children, showcasing their commitment to the community. The sports day was designed not only to entertain but also to introduce the children to the values of sportsmanship and the joy of physical activity.
Sapna Sehrawat, a resident of K block, shared that the primary objective of the event was to motivate the children, help them recognize their abilities, and provide them with much-needed exposure to sports. She fondly recalled a touching moment when a young participant, upon receiving a medal, expressed his amazement, stating that he had only ever seen medals on TV and never imagined he would receive one.
The event was a resounding success, bringing smiles and inspiration to the young participants. The efforts of Shikha Mahipal, Rachana Mohan, and Sapana Sehrawat exemplify the community’s dedication to uplifting and empowering its younger members through sports and positive experiences.
