A special GBM was called by RWA sector 40 secretary to discuss and amend some by laws and present the request to the Registrar societies, Meerut. The quorum was 50 members which was completed on second attempt on June 30. Some amendments like the transfer of membership and voting rights after the demise of the house owner/ owners, tenants’ membership, expenditure limit by cheque etc were need of the hour. One must keep pace with the present times to be updated.
A committee was constituted by RWA to frame a draft for the necessary amendments. The head of the committee Mr Narsimhan and convenor Poonam Sharma had Mr Kalra, Mr Rajnish, Mr Tilak Raj, Sandeep Seth, Bharat Sahni and Amit Chugh as its members.
The amendments were approved by the General body to be sent to the office of registrar of societies Meerut for inclusion in the by -laws.
