The Central Park for the past few months has been a topic of discussions all for the wrong reasons.
The park was full of over grown shrubs littered and full of dog poo. Once used by many morning walkers was being totally avoided due to its pathetic condition.
The horticulture dept was also handicapped in maintaining the 8-acre area due to paucity of staff.
Reacting to the complaints our councillor Anita Baisoya launched a special drive to get the park back to its original state.
Extra labour was arranged to do sweeping of the entire stretch and shrubs were removed from the park. The dustbins which were placed near stairs and were used by maids to dump house hold garbage while crossing were also shifted near the enclosures.
Cleaning abhiyan is in progress and very soon residents will be able to notice the result.
Would urge the residents to volunteer to caution people not to litter the park and also against Dog poo.
Our councillor has also promised lights in the park, proposal has been submitted to the MCD for 120 lights with poles.
