The GSCHB Society hosted a soulful Ghazal evening, “Sham-a-Ghazal,” on February 8, paying tribute to the legendary Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh on his birth anniversary.
Renowned singer and music composer Fanish Pawar, along with two budding singers, Anushruti Pawar and Minakshi Thapliyal, enthralled the audience with mesmerizing renditions of Jagjit Singh’s timeless Ghazals, taking the crowd on a nostalgic musical journey at Aravalli Culture Centre, Kalyan Kendra.
The event was graciously sponsored by Cmdr. AP Singh, an avid music lover who delights in hosting musical evenings. His ongoing support for the arts is evident in the numerous musical events he has sponsored in the Society and the Club.
