Christmas Vibes in the Sector
The winter season sends Christmassy vibes all over the sector. Keeping the spirit of Christmas celebrations, many residents decorated Christmas trees, and some even dressed up as Santa Claus for their kids. Kids chose to wear red caps and red and green attire. Many residents shared pictures of the same on social media and WhatsApp status. It is heartening to note that people are choosing not to be bound by religion and celebrate all festivals with equal fervour.
Christmas Carnival at the Club
The club was impeccably decorated with red and white balloons, cutouts of Santa, Christmas trees, and selfie points, where mothers could click pictures of the kids. Other attractions for kids were bungy jumping, train rides, and buggy rides. The event person kept the sector kids busy with small activities and games. The puppet show and magic show were quite interesting, and the kids stood around the stage and keenly watched the show. There was pizza and a fresh juice stall that carried the maximum rush. When kids were enjoying rides, their parents enjoyed hot food on the lawn. The main attraction for the kids each year is a lucky draw in which they get toys sponsored by President Khosla. The smiles on the faces of small kids, when they are called on stage to receive gifts, were worth looking at. It was a long day affair from 12 till 5 in the evening.
