In Part 1, we covered a few Hamletians who have been drinking solar water since long and how they have benefited from it. In this part, I’ll guide you to make suncharged water. To begin with, having solar water from a clear transparent glass bottle is optimum as it is the safest; this water contains all the rainbow colours within it.
Solar water in coloured bottles is an advanced therapy. Also, not all colours can be consumed.
Things needed for sun charging water-
· Fresh clean filtered water
· Clean transparent glass bottle/ container
· Wooden cork
· Wooden tray or a coaster
· Sunny area/ balcony/ windowsill/ park
Fill up the bottle with water till 3/4th full (and not completely). This is to ensure some space for the warm air which gets heated under the sun. Cover the mouth of the bottle with a wooden cork. This can be bought easily from Amazon.
Do not put plastic/ metal caps as they leach toxic chemicals/ gases when heated.
The water bottle is then kept on a wooden tray under the Sun so that the energy of the Sun remains intact within the water and doesn’t pass downwards. Wood is a bad conductor of heat, hence suitable for the process.
You can also place the water bottle on bare earth or mud but not on grass. Grass will prevent charging because it will take all the Sun energy for itself.
Leave the bottle for five-eight hours under the Sun. This water has been successfully Sun-charged; one can drink this right away. It is the same RO water with the addition of Sun energy in it. It is completely safe to drink by any age group – children/ adults/ elderly/sick people/ pregnant women etc.
Apart from drinking, solar water can also be used as an eye wash and for baths. You can also give solar water to your pets and plants.
