Society’s Follow up with Krishna Jakhar (MCD)

Krishna Jakhar (MCD) had a meeting with the Colony Welfare and Outreach Sub Committee at the Panchshila Club to address the issues that remained unresolved after the Meeting with
Saurabh Bhardwaj. The following points were taken up for discussion: Providing of Storm Water Drain Covers: Mr Jakhar has assured that he will provide a total 200 Drain Covers within 40-45 days; De-silting of storm Water Drains: Another point raised was regarding the blockage of drains. Mr Jakhar suggested that first identify blocked drains and their depth. The blockages will be removed first. Drain behind N 132 to N-138 and drain in between Mata Park and S-322 to S-361 require immediate action; Pruning of over grown tree Branches: It was pointed that heavy tree pruning was required in the colony. The councillor has asked to prepare a list of trees and submit it to the concerned department and mark a copy to him; Provision for irrigative water arrangement at Municipal Parks near N-81, N-99 & N-101 Panchshila Park: It was reported that there is no irrigation water in N-81, N-99 & N-101, Panchshila Park and we are unable to maintain the parks. The Councilor informed that recently the above 3 parks have been transferred from DDA to MCD, and we have already applied for 3 electricity meters. He assured us that the electricity will be installed in the site within a week; Providing interlocking tiles on the berms: Mr Jakhar has advised to approach (JE); Demolition of default Tube well located at Muncipal Park near N-66: This was deferred; Street lights to illuminate the dark spots in S Block: Mr Jakhar has asked to send him the exact locations through watsapp; Repair of Boundary wall & walk way to Mother Dairy Park: Mr Jakhar has requested to hold the proposal; Repair of walk way to E Block Park: Mr Jakhar has requested to hold the Proposal; Request for one more compactor at Dhalao Panchshila Club: This is not feasible; Providing of Open Gym in Municipal Park: Mr Jakhar agreed to provide open gym at S-99 Park & Children Swings in E Block Park; Opening of clogged drains: Mr Jakhar agreed to take action; Providing of anti termite treatment to termite infested trees: Mr Jakhar advised for lists of termite infested trees which has been given him through whatsapp; Re- surfacing & filling of potholes: Mr Jakhar advised to approach JE.
