SNRA Makes Its Parks More Inviting

Winter is really here!

How easily one’s spirits are uplifted these days! Just step out of your front door in the morning. Sunshine has this upfailing quality of making us feel lighter.

To enhance this sense of cheer, SNRA has tried to make the parks in its care more inviting. There are fresh plantings and nourishing granules have been scattered in the grass and flower beds, benches have been identified for repair and a fresh coat of paint.

Signages are in place to instruct those who bring in the dogs. Dogs, they state, have to be leashed. Ideally when outside, our pets should be able to roam and run freely. That is possible in the large MCD and SNRA managed Park opposite one by 28. A notice makes it clear.

Food minded visitors may note that there are no dustbins. The omission is deliberate. The idea is that the peanut shells and biscuit rappers get binned at home. Huge wire mesh cylinders in every park are meant for pet waste and Park litter. Those who bring in pets into public spaces should also carry tools readily available online, to safely put away the poop and help the RWA keep its parks clean.
