Suncity enjoys a picturesque location at the foothills of the Aravalli range. However, our close proximity with the abundant wildlife in the area means that snakes are frequently spotted in our locality every 2-3 days. Last month alone a staggering 20 snakes were encountered in Suncity. To manage this situation, our Quick Response Team (QRT) uses two specialized sticks to safely capture these snakes. They always aim to catch them near the head to ensure the safety of both the snakes and our residents.
Once a snake is captured, they prioritize their well-being. Instead of harming them, the team takes great care to relocate them to a suitable natural area nearby, typically close to gate number 8. Some of these snakes can be highly venomous, so they handle them with the utmost caution and skill.
Yet, the role of our dedicated team extends beyond snake handling. They also play a vital role in keeping wild animals away from our community, ensuring the safety and tranquillity of everyone here.
