With all the recent festivities in our society, there have been some potentially dangerous events recently. The more spoken of the two is the T26 snake incident where a snake was sighted in the tower lobby. The second incident was one of the treadmills in the gym catching fire.
While this may sound bad, none of these events was caused due to neglect or lack of security in society. The snake sighted in the T26 lobby by a delivery person caused a lot of panic and unrest in the tower, however, the snake returned to the basement through the lift shaft and it was concluded by some experts that the snake was of a non-poisonous breed and was hence declared harmless (even though the delivery person who stepped on the snake will have a hard time believing so).
While the fire in the gym happened due to the voltage surge which caused short circuits in most machines making them unusable and an unfortunately failure in one of the fuses caused a fire leading to the meltdown of one of the treadmills.
Most events these days are blown out of proportion especially ones which can create hysteria and panic among the citizens, this month we are learning about how good always wins over evil and in our current era misinformation can be regarded as one of the biggest evils in the society and has the potential to harm us, hence we should be more careful about what we a should trust and present to others in our community.
