‘LB Stars’, the Junior Football Team comprising children staying in Lotus Boulevard, won the Warriors Cup – 2023 in the Under – 13 Category, in the Multi State Tournament involving 42+ Teams, 67 Matches which had participation of over 378 young footballers from different parts of the state.
The ‘LB Stars’ team competed in 5 levels of the game to reach the Final (2 – 1) against the team ‘Sea Rock (J&K)’. Top Scorer of the tournament in the U – 13 category was the young captain of the team, Tattvamasi Mahakhud.
A perfect example of how the passion for football resulted in forming the team, motivated them to practise, and practise hard, finally leading them all to taste victory. This vibrant team comprises Atharv Rajput (T-26), Ayaan Bansal (T-28), Devang Vashishth (T-22), Gaurang Mittal (T-16), Saksham Rawat (T-21), Shaurya Priyadarshi (T-27), Tattvamasi Mahakhud (Captain) (T-27) and Tushir Wadhwa (T-22).
This self-motivated team was mentored by Sukant and whole-heartedly supported by the parents of all the players. The team defeated 16 teams to emerge the winners in that specific category. What is most creditable is that this passion for football was not a passing phase for our young footballers, which is evidenced by the fact that it was the 2nd tournament of the season won by them in the Noida Premier Jr. League.
