On Friday, October 18th, the Football ground and Badminton court transformed into a vibrant marketplace. The event highlights were 45 stalls offering Jewellery, Clothing, Diwali gifts, candles, and more, 10 food stalls serving delicious options: chaat, golgappe, Chinese, Pizzas, Potato swirls, Biryani. There were thrilling rides for the kids including their all-time favourite the giant wheel. The whole idea behind doing the mela early was to give the residents a great shopping experience at their doorstep, especially the senior citizens who can’t step out. A lot of residents danced to the tunes of the DJ specially the teenage kids who had a blast. It was a 4-5 hour event with impressive footfall across all age groups.
Residents, including teenagers and younger kids, enjoyed the festivities. It was a memorable evening of shopping, entertainment, and community bonding!
