Hauz Khas organised a 2 day celebrations to commemorate the 25 Glorious years of Pran Prathishta Samaroh. 9th December Bhajan Sandhya by Geeta Sharma mesmerisingly soaked the Bhakts in her soulful bhajans. पूरा वातावरण राधामय और कृष्णमय हो गया। Masti and dance brightened the evening from 2.30 -5.30 pm on Saturday Hall was packed and full. People returned with a snack- box and juice pack as Prasad requested the singers to come again. Sunday 10th December Yajmans for Hawan Mrs and Mr Arora celebrated their Golden marriage anniversary clubbing with the Silver Anniversary of Pran Prathishta Samaroh of Mandir. Hawan followed by kirtan highlighted Silver and Golden Jubilee badhaais. 1 pm Bhandara was sumptuous with poori-aaloo chole gobhi-aaloo matar-paneer matar-pulav and halwa. It was a wonderful grand celebration. Shiv Mandir observed its first Pran Prathishta samaroh on 6th December 1998. And since then it is prospering and growing unstoppably. A collage of pictures displayed in Mandir shows how it has grown from a very basic infrastructure to a well maintained beautiful marble floor and marble tiling on walls and columns adjoining a well kept lawn. There is a Satsang hall at the back to host indoor functions. There is plenty of space for cooking in adjoining play area. Bhandaras are ritually held on most occasions. May our Shiv Mandir be Blessed and continue to Prosper.
