Upbeat about their performance, President Inderjit Sial and Vice President Minakshi have a long list of achievements to talk about:
The present team took over at the time of covid and dealt with the challenges very well, providing a seamless service on all accounts to residents.
To curb security breaches, the RWA for the first time had a police post created in the Sector. Two people are always present at the booth every evening. Old cameras have been replaced with IP cameras of higher resolution and now connected with NVR’s which are connected via combination of CAT6 and optical fibre.
After vigorous follow-up with NA to repair the boundary wall wherever required and increase the wall height and put concertina wires, NA has agreed in principle to do it but it is waiting for tenders to be assigned. We should be able to get this work completed very soon.
We have also been continuously working to enhance the aesthetics of the Sector and keep the Sector clean & green. By keeping the entries green and well-lit, manicured with blooming flowers, Sector 15 A is a place of pride.
All the 7 parks and green belts are being maintained with special care and seasonal flowers are being planted regularly. Footpaths have been repaired, gates, park grills, kerbstones have been re-painted. This makes the Sector look clean and elegant.
Old halogen lights have been replaced with new lights, significantly improving the visual experience.
Regular pruning of trees is being done which overhang overhead electric cables. We have removed old or dangerous trees/branches with special operation of the horticulture & DFO departments.
Resurfacing of the Sector roads was done and fresh markings with cat eyes were put in place. A proper storm-water drain system has been established in the Sector which will soon be covered with standardised drain covers. All this gives the Sector a well-maintained look. Our Sector was rated First in this year’s Swachhta rankings in terms of cleanliness and received a certification of recognition from CEO Noida.
Drains along the green belts of the rear side have been covered with eco-friendly bamboo jalis to prevent choking of drains and mosquito breeding.
Malba is being picked up everyday free of cost by NA.
Compost machine manure is being used in the parks and residents are welcome to take it free of cost.
Gate Automation: Gate automation and boom-barriers have been made fully functional. Entry-exit of vehicles, domestic staff and visitors are controlled by RFID cards. A QR code kiosk has been installed for smooth and safe entry-exit through the gates. Traffic lights have been installed to regulate ingress/egress and to avoid damaging the boom-barriers. There are speed-breakers at both the entry gates.
Electricity: Electrical infrastructure, particularly transformers, are being maintained well to ensure stable supply. All loose connections have been tightened to prevent outages. Transformers taps have been adjusted to prevent high voltage issue
Cultural: Programmes were organised with good attendance of residents. The Holi event marked an attendance of over 700 residents
