The Shanti Niketan Recreation Center Bhoomi Pujan was held on Sunday 4th February, 2024. The event which was organised by SNRA to seek the Blessings of the Almighty was well attended by the residents of Shanti Niketan and the Managing Committee members from the Government Servants Co-operative House Building Society Limited (GSCHBS Ltd.).
This project is being developed by GSCHBS Ltd with the support of SNRA and aims to fulfill the long pending aspiration of the Shanti Niketan residents. In his welcome address the SNRA President Shri Arun Chopra mentioned how inspite of the many hurdles this project finally saw the light of day and will be something that the residents will be proud of. The GSCHBS Ltd. President Gen. Shankar Prasad explained to the audience the brief history of all the Society went through to begin the project and lay down the vision of the future development.
The SNRA Vice President Shri Jagdeep Rikhy appealed to every resident to come forward and contribute for this dream project. The current sponsors of the project from Shanti Niketan – DCM Shriram Fenesta Ltd.and Sonalika Ltd. were thanked for their generous contribution. At the function the Chairman of Trident Ltd. Shri
Rajendra Gupta ji who is also a Shanti Niketan resident announced a generous contribution for this project from his side which was warmly welcomed. The function was also attended by the MLA Smt. Pramila Tokas who addressed the gathering and expressed her support for the project and Shri Dhiraj Tokas and other dignitaries. After the Bhoomi Pujan which was beautifully conducted by Smt Prake Luthra, Smt Gayatri Luthra and their team a sumptuous lunch was served to the guests.
