The Special General Body (SGM) meeting of the Panchshila Co-operative House Building Society Ltd. was held on Sunday, March 26, 2023. The SGM has a clear Agenda – to put up to the General Body (GB) the Revised Estimates for the year gone by i.e., F.Y. 2022-23 and present the Budget Estimates for the ensuing year i.e., 2023-24.
This was the first SGM of the new Managing Committee and it was conducted with a professional ease which spoke of the planning and thought that had gone into every item. There was a concise Agenda, timelines were adhered to and due protocol was followed.
The President, Mr. Rajesh Chopra first spoke and shared the Team vision for Panchshila Park and this was followed by a clear and precise presentation outlining the facts and figures. It was heartening to learn that the Club had made a remarkable turnaround is now earning profits but the General Body was also made aware of the problems faced by the Colony and Club.
Mr. Chopra and his Team are driven by a need to seek solutions for these problems and are ready to work wholeheartedly to ensure that Panchshila Park is counted amongst the premier Colonies of Delhi. It was explained that some strategic choices had to be made and there was a detailed discussion on a number of Capital Projects that would need to be undertaken to generate revenue, maintain or upgrade infrastructure and assets and improve health and lifestyle of Residents/members. The GB was in agreement with the path envisioned and the Resolution was passed, following which the Society Members present had some lively conversation over tea and refreshments.
