Sewer issues have been a major concern around the colony. Despite regular complaints to DJB, the problem has risen to such an extent that sewer slush is now entering residents’ houses. Repeated requests to Jal Board for desilting and changing of sewer lines are being ignored because of their constraints in deploying super sucker and recylcer machines. The contracts for these machines have not been renewed. The budget for laying a new sewer in the colony, which is the main demand of residents, has not passed till date because of financial constraints. We request MLA Madan lal to intervene and help in resolving the sewer issues of residents on an urgent basis.
