Residents of DLF City Phase-2 and 3 are facing a severe water shortage, prompting frustration and significant expense. Complaints are pouring in as residents spend between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 on water.
Despite DLF’s responsibility to supply water, they are deflecting blame to the GMDA, which has admitted to insufficient water availability at their boosting stations. A recent message from GMDA requested residents to use water judiciously and reassured them that efforts are ongoing to improve the supply.
In response to this crisis, material for a booster pump has arrived at P Block and installed within 2-3 days. Work has also commenced on a booster pump in J Block. These pumps are expected to enhance water supply if GMDA can provide the required amount.
The community remains hopeful that these measures will alleviate the current water scarcity and ensure a more reliable water supply in the near future.
