On the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi on June18, the community of DLF Phase 2 united in a heartwarming display of compassion and generosity, provid-ing much-needed relief from the summer heat to those on the field and on foot.
The New Punjabi Mahasabha graced the Akashneem and Bougainvillea Marg crossing with their presence, distributing chilled sharbat and delectable hot veg patties to around 1400 grateful souls. Simultaneously, the Gauri Shanker Mandir group set up their own Seva Chhabeel on Bougainvillea Marg, spreading joy and refreshment.
Near the serene Timeless Garden on Akashneem Marg, a dedicated group of regular walkers organized a charming Seva Chhabeel, bringing smiles and cool relief to passersby. The Nishwarth Seva team, stationed outside Central Arcade, served an invigorating drink of Roohafza and milk to more than 2500 people, their efforts complemented by the delightful sight of young girls, Ishika and Ashna Jain, residents of K block, offering the refreshing beverage to the people of Chakkarpur.
