Segregation of waste is essential for a cleaner environment; house helps and housekeeping staff play a crucial role in this process. Despite previous training sessions, ongoing reinforcement is vital for successful working of the process. Recently, on 19 March, under its CSR initiative a technology organisation held a workshop to educate the staff at Eldeco Utopia. More than 100 participants attended the session focused on the importance of waste segregation, covering various waste types such as dry, wet, e-waste, and hazardous materials. A quiz assessed their understanding, and refreshments were provided as a token of appreciation for their participation.
Through Samvada, we would like to appeal our residents – and the readers at large – to continue promoting this behavior among their house helps and to contribute actively in waste management in their busy schedules. Together, we can foster a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
