When the fire broke out at one of the resident’s house last month, within minutes, Malibu Security guards were at the site with fire extinguishers.
Switching off electrical circuits, they plunged into action and quickly got the fire under control and saved the spread and further damage. This was not an isolated incident. In the past few months of excessive heat, there have been several fire incidents that were controlled quickly by the Malibu security team even before the Fire Brigade could arrive.
The security team, led by CSO Rajesh Kumar and ably supported by SO Manoj Mishra, and SO Himanshu Veer is trained to handle emergencies and in their everyday drill, protocols are reinforced for the 66 security personnel deployed in the colony.
Security Guards are our first line of defence and for all emergencies, we have seen them jump and take swift actions. They have been instrumental in catching erring elements trying to sneak into the colony like petty thieves, and alcoholics and handing them over to rightful authorities. There have also been unfortunate incidents of reckless driving and residents or maids hit by speeding vehicles, which was handled by the Security team in time.
The team quickly gave first aid and took the affected persons to Park Hospital. Acts like these are a testimony to the commitment and efficiency of our Security team who serve the colony round the clock with unfailing sincerity. While we sleep peacefully because they are awake, the team is humble enough to acknowledge that it is the true spirit of a three-way partnership between Security, RWA & its residents that keeps the magic of Malibu alive.
