Birthday of Seniors Celebrated: The senior citizen’s forum was decked up on 22 April at 6 PM to welcome the 4 lucky birthday boys who came well-groomed with their family members to celebrate their special day. The Chairperson Mrs. Bawa and her SCF team ensured that all the necessary arrangements were done before the start of this special event.
Kanchan Anand warmly welcomed all the guests with a rose and broad smile to cheer them up for the event. The ambiance was filled with energy and joy with Punjabi music and melodies from the golden era.
Vijay Bhardwaj presented a personalized birthday card to all the B’ day boys and one lucky gal. ND Bhasin shared accolades from the newspaper about the commendable activities done by our SCF, Defence colony. The ever-energetic Mr Bhasin then presented his famous shairi and imitation of Sunny Deol to entertain the guests who applauded all the way and enjoyed the fun.
The delightful performance of lovable Chander Sehgal and Vijay Dhall was highly appreciated by everyone. The spirit of generosity was also evident with the anonymously sponsorship of snacks etc for the party.
Harjit Bawa thanked all the guests for their active participation and love for each other to celebrate these occasions to create harmony and togetherness among the Defence colony residents.
GPS Bawa Was Remembered on the First Death Anniversary on 28 April ’24, Mr Bawa’s contribution to the society was acknowledged by Defence colony residents during his prayer meeting at the Gurudwara, Sri Guru Singh Sabha followed by guru ka langar.
