A special Road Safety Campaign was organized on January 29 at the Suncity Community Centre by the Resident Safety Officers (RSOs) and Traffic Police to promote safer driving practices among senior citizens. The event, held from 11 am to 1 pm, featured interactive discussions on road safety updates, preventive maintenance and fitness check-ups for cars, and the distribution of car stickers for improved identification.
Senior residents of the sector actively participated, sharing their concerns and suggestions for enhancing traffic management along Golf Course Road. The event, facilitated by the Suncity RWA, provided an opportunity for direct dialogue between the community and traffic authorities.
The campaign concluded with tea, snacks, and on-the-spot distribution of stickers, which senior residents could be seen holding in their hands.
