Security of Anand Niketan is further being upgraded through Power Park Plus and My Gate apps. Automatic boom barriers will be installed around the colony and the residents of the colony have been issued RFID tags. 6 boom barriers at gate number 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 11 will be installed. Entry and Exit for residents with RFID tags will be allowed from all gates and those without RFID tags will be able to enter or exit only through gate number 2 of the colony; the cost price for RFID tag incidentally comes to approximately 118 rupees per person.
The security of the colony is managed by Anand Niketan Society. There is going to be further upgradation where all the employees of all the households will be issued code numbers which would be installed through the app on their phones. Only such employees will be allowed entry into the colony; no two wheelers or four wheelers would be allowed inside without code numbers or verification.
Once the system is in place only scheduled visitors would be allowed entry into the colony and all the non scheduled visitors would have to enter through gate number 2 after a message goes to the resident household where they are visiting. On confirmation from the household the non scheduled visitors would be allowed to enter the colony.
Seven security guards are being positioned on the periphery of the colony during the night. 4 guards would be patrolling the Benito Juarez Marg, 3 would be positioned on Baba Balak Nath road while the A block patrolling would be covered by the gate 2 guards. The same pattern will be replicated during the day.
